  • What are MCards?

MCards are travel smartcards designed to offer unlimited, multi-operator travel on bus and train services within West Yorkshire.  There are different types of MCard available based on your age and how often your travel.

    Why choose MCard?

Easier, more convenient, quicker and great value-for-money.  With an MCard, you’ll be able to travel anywhere in West Yorkshire using a single ticket, valid on most services, so there’s no hunting for change to buy a separate ticket for every journey.  The MCard touch technology will help to get you on buses faster and through rail stations more quickly. It’s easy to top-up at over 700 Payzone outlets in West Yorkshire, and at selected rail and bus stations.

You will need to hold it on the smart reader until the card has been read properly. This is usually shown by a green light and an audible beep.
